At the Cass Lake - Bena High School library we are holding our first murder mystery, similar to an escape room. The display of books has clues among the items that will solve the mystery. This is how the story goes.
On New Years Eve in 1922 a Mr. Harry Boddy was murdered around 2:00 in the morning. The nearby town of Cow Pie is where the murder was committed. Every New Year's Eve the town of Cow Pie has an annual festival. A dance is held along with a community potluck and a carnival.
The old Cow Pie Library donated books to our local Cass Lake - Bena High School Library. Among the books that were donated, new evidence was unearthed from the 100 year old murder, reopening the case.
