Boozhoo!

On Wednesday February 22 we celebrated our student achievement with our High School Students.  Shared by HS Principal Mr. Krump:

"Attendance is the cornerstone for learning, so we are recognizing the students who come to school to learn.  Making the Honor Roll often requires extra effort, time spent studying, and support from home.  Good behavior is definitely appreciated, but often overlooked as it is an expectation for students in our school community.  I want first to thank our students for their hard work and effort.  I want to thank our families for their support on your child’s educational journey.  Cass Lake-Bena has a lot of pride in our students, our families, and our community.  At the high school we talk about what having pride means to our staff and students.  Focusing on the positive in situations, treating ourselves and others with respect, doing the right thing even when we think no one is watching, sticking with something even though it may be difficult, and encouraging others to reach their goals.  Today I invite you to show your PRIDE in yourself, your school, and your community.  Join me in giving these students a round of applause."

Students received a certificate for their 2nd Quarter achievements and a new Panther PRIDE shirt! Thank you students and families who were able to join us in this celebration and meal! Students who were not able to attend the Rewards & Recognition Celebration received their certificates in Homeroom this week.

For 2nd Quarter we recognized 150+ high school students! Giminochige!
