Cass Lake-Bena Public Schools

Cass Lake-Bena District School Nurse Melissa Jenson presented at a national conference called  Professional Development for Healthy Schools Institute.  Nurse Jenson and the team from Minnesota presented on building state, regional, and local resources and relationships for the implementation of sustainable school health services. Nurse Jenson spoke about what CLB is doing in the area of partnering  with the 1801 wellness grant to provide structure of the wellness team, promote healthy eating and physical activity, and sustain school health services.  The conference was attended by CDC executives, who gave Nurse Jenson and the Minnesota team kudos for the work they are doing. Once again, the work CLB staff is doing is receiving public recognition! #CLBROCKS #PANTHERPRIDE
