For the past several seasons, our football coaches, in collaboration with the Activities Department, have placed our student-athletes on the sideline farthest from the home bleachers.
Following recent conversations between our football coaches and the Activities Department, we have decided to move the Panthers back to the home sideline in front of our fans.
We want to recognize and thank our coaches for their willingness to listen, collaborate, and try this change. Our coaches care deeply about creating the best possible environment for our student-athletes, and we appreciate their openness to bringing the team closer to our Panther community.
For this change to be successful, we need the support and cooperation of everyone attending our games. At both home and away contests, we ask our fans to:
• Maintain a reasonable distance from the sideline
• Avoid distracting or interacting with players during the game
• Allow coaches to communicate and remain focused
• Cheer loudly, positively, and proudly for our Panthers
Our student-athletes and coaches deserve a sideline environment that allows them to remain safe, focused, and prepared to compete. If these expectations are not followed at our home games, we may need to move the team back to the far sideline.
We believe our Panther community can make this work. Let’s create an incredible home-field atmosphere while respecting the space our players and coaches need to compete.

IT’S TIME TO BUILD PANTHER FOOTBALL
Cass Lake-Bena has talented student-athletes, a proud community, and the ability to build something special on the football field.
Now, we need players.
Over the past couple of years, low participation numbers have kept our football team from competing in the playoffs. Our athletes have worked hard, but football takes a full team. We need more students to step up, show up, and become part of the program.
This is your opportunity.
You do not need years of experience. You do not need to know every rule or understand every play. You just need to be ready to learn, work hard, and be a great teammate. Our coaches will teach you the game and help you improve every day.
We know summer can be busy. Students have jobs, family trips, and other responsibilities. But when practice begins, we need everyone there and ready to go.
FIRST PRACTICE

Junior High and Varsity
Football is more than a game. It is Friday night lights, representing your school, competing alongside your friends, and becoming part of a team that will have your back.
This program has incredible student-athletes who can make an impact on the field. Now we need them to take the first step and join us.
Parents, families, alumni, and community members, we need your help too. Encourage a student to come out for football. Share this information. Help us fill the field and give our athletes the chance to compete for a full season and return to the playoffs.
