ALC MAAP Stars were at the Capitol in St. Paul meeting with senators, representatives, and touring the buildings. MAAP Stars exists to help students build confidence, learn new skills, and represent their community. It was fun learning about the Legislature!

The Cass Lake-Bena Panthers earned a big postseason win tonight, defeating Browerville 65–50 in Section 5A action.
A strong team performance on both ends of the floor secured the victory and keeps the Panthers moving forward.
In the #3 vs #6 matchup, Sebeka defeated WHA in a close game. That sets up the next round:

Boozhoo, Cass Lake-Bena Schools community. On Tuesday, February 24, Cass County Sheriff's office will be holding a training event at the old elementary school building in town. You will notice a large police presence at the building starting around 2:00 p.m.. This is for officer training. There are no students or school staff in the building, and there is no danger to the surrounding community.

Section 7A Individual Wrestling is complete, and our BCLB Bears represented with pride and determination.
Benny Headbird battled his way to a 4th place finish, and Parker Tsuji earned 6th place in a highly competitive field.
Competing at the section level takes grit, preparation, and heart. Both wrestlers stepped on the mat ready to compete and represented our program the right way. We are proud of the work they put in all season and the way they carried themselves throughout the tournament.
The future is bright for BCLB Wrestling. The experience gained this year will fuel next season’s goals.
