Dear Elementary Families,

We ask that you please help us keep school focused on learning by making sure personal toys stay at home unless your child’s teacher has specifically requested or approved them for a classroom activity.

We know children enjoy sharing their favorite things! However, toys brought to school can create distractions, lead to disagreements, and risk being lost, broken, or taken without permission. Keeping these special belongings at home helps protect them and supports a positive learning environment for everyone.

Please take a moment to check backpacks with your child and remind them of this expectation. If your child uses a school-approved item to support learning or regulation, please continue coordinating with their teacher.

🏈🏐 WHAT A GREAT DAY FOR YOUTH SPORTS! 🏐🏈 We have 28 youth teams competing at Cass Lake-Bena today, including 20 football teams and 8 volleyball teams! It has been an outstanding day so far, filled with teamwork, learning, competition, and plenty of smiles. Events like this give our young athletes the opportunity to develop their skills, build friendships, and experience everything that makes youth sports special. A huge thank-you to all the coaches, officials, volunteers, families, and visiting communities who helped make today possible.
