The ALC would like to thank families for joining us at our annual end of the year picnic. Approximately 55 staff, students and family gathered for conversation and a wonderful meal. We are most grateful to everyone who contributed and helped to make the end of the picnic a success.

Elementary STEM Night- Theme: LEGOs! Once again families filled the Cafeteria as they pieced together some great projects. 130+ in attendance! Kits included LEGO models that could be programmed to light up and even move.

The Freshman Academy is hosting a family picnic on Wednesday, May 17th at 5pm in front of the high school with food, games, and socializing! Come celebrate the end of the school year with us!
Mr. Wellen and Sean Spence take the two eBikes for the first time to the elementary where Sean is a Teacher's Assistant. Sean is now the first student who can have an assignment in town and not have to rely on a ride or an automobile. Thank you to the Cass Lake Bena School Board for removing another barrier to our students' success.
9th Graders were rewarded for passing their 4th quarter classes at mid-quarter with a trip to play mini golf! Fun was had by all on this beautiful day!! ⛳️☀️

Congrats to our girls Robotics team who just wrapped up there first trip to the State Tournament. Sr. Caraira Jensen was named State Robotics Student of the Year in the "Design" category. Linsey Strand and Matt Wendland were also named as the Section 8 Coaches of the Year.

Congratulations to the Cass Lake-Bena Girls Robotics (3134) team in Qualifying for the Minnesota State Robotics Tournament. They are the first Robotics team from Cass Lake-Bena to Qualify for the State.

The ALC traveled to the twin cities yesterday to visit the State Capitol and the Science Museum. We were able to visit with Associate Justice Anne McKeig from the Minnesota Supreme Court. It was a fun day for all of us.!
